Program Summary

KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces deployed around the world under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract (LOGCAP). KBR’s enduring mission support of the LOGCAP program dates back to 1992 when we served as the contract’s original prime contractor. Today, we have a workforce of over 6,000 people representing 40 nationalities who perform work on the contract in 10 countries.

Job Summary

As an Equipment Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of NTV maintenance-related activities at the site. This includes supervising and directing technical and administrative efforts to ensure contract compliance and client satisfaction. You will organize and coordinate activities related to maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment, such as trucks, automobiles, diesel engines, etc. You will work closely with equipment maintenance leads, Quality Compliance (QC), and supporting staff to ensure all maintenance activities meet contract requirements and standards. Additionally, you will advise employees on equipment maintenance, train new mechanics, and develop the skills of current workers. 

Roles and Responsibilities

Be responsible for equipment maintenance repairs and services at the site, equipment storage locations, and various equipment types.

Work closely with equipment maintenance Foremen and Mechanics, QC, and support staff to ensure equipment maintenance, warehousing activities, and property accountability functions are performed to standards and codes required by the LOGCAP contract.

Report maintenance and readiness activities to ensure all requirements in the PWS are met.

Provide management and direction to employees regarding compliance with company, customer, and local area of responsibility standards/regulations.

Supervise personnel performing the duties of: Non-Tactical Light vehicles, MHE, Heavy equipment, Small engines.

Report directly to the Equipment Maintenance Manager, and in their absence, be authorized to act on behalf of the Contractor for all matters relating to this contract and be designated in writing to the Contracting Officer (CO).

Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.

Follow HAZMAT rules and regulations concerning waste material handling and disposal.

Wear the personal protective equipment (PPE) during tasks where it is required.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 5 years of management and leadership experience on Non tactical vehicle maintenance.

Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Must have a good working knowledge of the MAXIMO system.

Must be well versed on all Army regulations related to Non-Tactical Vehicle maintenance.

Must be fluent in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Knowledge of all relevant safety standards.

Must have a valid driver license.

Fluency in Albanian and possessing an unrestricted right to work and reside in Kosovo.

Preferred Qualifications (Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

Certification in diesel mechanics or equipment maintenance.

Experience in supervising maintenance teams.

Familiarity with Computerized Equipment Management Systems.

Strong leadership and communication skills.
