Title: LCV EUCOM Kosovo: Laboratory Technician, Senior Belong, Connect, Grow, with KBR! Program Summary KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces deployed around the world under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract (LOGCAP). KBR’s enduring mission support of the LOGCAP program dates back to 1992 when we served as the contract’s original prime contractor. Job Summary The Senior Laboratory Technician is responsible for conducting prototype and environmental laboratory tests, ensuring quality and compliance with established procedures. This role involves operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, performing analytical computations, and documenting results. The technician will also mentor less experienced team members, provide advanced technical support, and ensure adherence to QHSE standards and government regulations. Roles and Responsibilities + Conduct prototype and environmental laboratory tests with adherence to strict quality procedures. + Utilize specialized instruments to sample, examine, and evaluate the impact of QHSE standards on operations. + Operate, repair, calibrate, and maintain laboratory and industrial equipment, including pumps and rig systems. + Perform advanced analytical computations to interpret test results. + Accurately document findings, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. + Ensure adherence to QHSE protocols and maintain awareness of evolving government regulations. + Propose and implement process improvements to align with updated standards. + Perform advanced and complex operations under general supervision, following established guidelines. + Provide technical expertise and assistance for challenging or intricate tasks. + Train and mentor less experienced team members, ensuring skill development and knowledge transfer. + Guide others in the proper calibration and use of laboratory instruments. + Perform calibration and evaluation of instruments to ensure precision and reliability. Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications) + Associate's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree. + Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in laboratory testing, equipment operation, and maintenance. + Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in performing computations and interpreting data. + Comprehensive knowledge of laboratory instruments used for environmental and prototype testing. + Familiarity with QHSE standards and government compliance regulations. + Proven ability to operate, repair, and calibrate technical equipment. + Fluency in Albanian and possessing an unrestricted right to work and reside in Kosovo. Preferred Qualifications (Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications) + Experience mentoring and training team members. + Advanced expertise in interpreting complex data and troubleshooting laboratory equipment. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and leadership. + Proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements.
