Program Summary
KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces deployed around the world under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract (LOGCAP). KBR’s enduring mission support of the LOGCAP program dates back to 1992 when we served as the contract’s original prime contractor. Job Summary
The Electrician Superintendent assists the project team by providing input to identify key success factors, timing of design and procurement deliverables, and establishing common work breakdown structures. This role provides leadership to create the organizational structure and processes required to fully execute electrical services, ensuring quality, subcontractor performance, and cost efficiency. The Electrician Superintendent evaluates service execution for compliance with contracts, design data, schedules, cost budgets, and quality standards, advising the project team on status, issues, impacts, risks, and cost influence factors.
Roles and Responsibilities
Assist the project team in identifying key success factors and establishing work breakdown structures.
Provide leadership to create processes required to fully execute electrical services.
Ensure the execution of electrical services, maintaining quality and cost efficiency.
Evaluate electrical service execution for compliance with contracts, design data, schedules, cost budgets, and quality standards.
Advise the project team on status, issues, impacts, risks, and cost influence factors.
Monitor the implementation of safety orientations, safety indoctrinations, and gang box meetings, providing coaching for improvement.
Monitor crews for organizational structure, sizing, crew mix ratios, and wage compliance.
Review and monitor cost and man-hour budgets for the installation process.
Develop staff, facilities, equipment, and tool requirement plans.
Support the Regional General Site Manager and Site Leadership by contributing insights to identify key success factors for the Electrical Department.
Oversee electrical services, ensuring quality assurance, evaluating subcontractor performance, and managing construction costs.
Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electrician.
At least 2 years of team lead, supervisory, or management experience.
Certification/licensure as a Master Electrician or equivalent.
Experience with both British and American standards.
In-depth knowledge of IEC 60364 with knowledge of BS7671 18th Edition and U.S. National Electric Code.
Familiarity with Fluke Multi-Functional Testers used in BS7671 testing and inspection.
ANRE (National Energy Regulatory Authority) Electrician Grade IVB certification is required.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to establish and implement organizational structures and processes.
Experience in overseeing construction and maintenance services.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid vehicle driver’s license, maintained for the duration of employment.
Intermediate English proficiency: Must be able to speak, read, and write in English at an intermediate level.
Fluency in Romanian language and possessing an unrestricted right to work and reside in Romania.
Preferred Qualifications (Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
Qualification as Master Electrician - Authorized and issued by the Country of Origin of individual.
Knowledge of electrical codes and EU standards.
Additional certifications related to electrical services.
Familiarity with industry-standard electrical safety practices.
Proven track record of effective subcontractor management.
Advanced knowledge of electrical design principles.
Experience in developing and maintaining cost and person-hour budgets.
