Program Summary

KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces deployed around the world under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract (LOGCAP). KBR’s enduring mission support of the LOGCAP program dates back to 1992 when we served as the contract’s original prime contractor. Today, we have a workforce of over 6,000 people representing 40 nationalities who perform work on the contract in 14 countries.

Job Summary

We are looking for a talented HR Generalist to join our team in the Constanta area, Romania. The successful candidate will support the local HR team in various functions, including recruitment, compliance with labor laws, payroll and onboarding. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of HR activities and contributing to the overall success of the organization. 

Roles and Responsibilities 

Address employee inquiries about benefits and compensation, directing them to the appropriate administrators. 

Develop and update reports using MS Word and Excel. 

Track, process, analyze, and present data related to HR initiatives. 

Collaborate with team members on larger projects. 

Analyze and develop solutions using standard procedures, enhancing skills over time. 

Maintain employee documentation, including contracts, evaluation forms, and other records. 

Manage physical employee personal files. 

Issue certificates upon employee request in accordance with legal provisions. 

Assist with HR tasks requiring knowledge of labor legislation and REVISAL operations. 

Ensure company policies and documentation comply with Romanian labor laws. 

Handle HR-related inquiries from employees, management, and government agencies. 

Advise management on labor law matters and recommend actions to mitigate risks. 

Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing documentation, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring smooth integration. 

Assist in recruitment processes, including job postings, resume screening, interviews, and hiring recommendations. 

Perform other duties as assigned. 

Undertake special projects as assigned. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

Bachelor’s Degree with at least 2 years of related experience, or a High School Diploma/equivalent with an additional 5 years of experience. 

Intermediate skills in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). 

Ability to work effectively with various levels of employees and management as an HRBP. 

Self-directed with strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities. 

Human Resources Referent Training Romanian Certificate. 

Knowledge of REVISAL operations. 

Intermediate English proficiency: Must be able to speak, read, and write in English at an intermediate level.   

Fluency in Romanian language and possessing an unrestricted right to work and reside in Romania.

Preferred Qualifications (Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

Proficiency in Workday or other HRIS systems. 

Certifications in Human Resources. 

Knowledge of global HR practices. 

Familiarity with international employment laws and regulations. 

Experience in diverse HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, and performance management.
