LCV NORTHCOM: GS Site Manager- Contingency
Position Overview:
As a GS Site Manager, you will report directly to the NORTHCOM Task Order Manager. In this role, you will independently oversee the daily activities and ensure contract compliance for a large-scale project located on-site. Operating within established policies, procedures, and company-approved systems, your responsibilities will span such actions as project setup, transitional activities, vendor management, and client relations. You will manage subordinate Site Managers and direct both technical and administrative aspects of the project.
Responsibilities include:
+ Independently manage daily operations and contract compliance for a large-sized project in accordance with company policies and procedures.
+ Supervise and direct the efforts of the technical and administrative sides of the project, including staffing, personnel management, and reporting.
+ Oversee transitional activities, vendor management, client relations, project setup, and contract changes.
+ Manage subordinate Site Managers and coordinate efforts across multiple project sites.
+ Collaborate with the Task Order Manager and ensure alignment with project requirements in case of differences.
+ Handle responsibilities such as project setup, subcontracting strategy, shop drawing review, processing contract changes, and maintaining relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
+ Generate required reports for both owners and in-house purposes.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Applicable Skills, Knowledge, and Experience Required:
+ Must have a Bachelor’s Degree at least 8 years of operational management of government-sponsored programs, with a background in construction or facility maintenance. An additional 5 years of related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
+ Prior site-level facilities/operations experience is required.
+ Must have experience managing 200-500 employees in dispersed operations across multiple locations.
+ Must be capable of managing an entire project ranging from $7 to $15 million or bid packages on a larger project.
+ Must have a valid State Driver’s License
+ Ability to pass a Military Background Check for access to military installations.
+ Authorization to work in the U.S.
Additional Skills or Experience Preferred:
+ Familiarity with KBR CONUS operations.
+ Proven ability to align processes with organizational goals and ensure compliance with standards.
