Title: Lead Data Engineer- Location: Remote or consideration for candidate currently located at or near a WestRock facility The opportunity: The Lead Data Engineer develops and supports business analytic reporting utilizing the latest BI tools in a Cloud-based environment. This position works with Data Engineers, Analysts, and Business customers to develop and deliver reports that are critical for business operational and forecasting needs. How you will impact Smurfit Westrock: * Collaborate with Data Engineers and Business customers to automate and build analytic reporting that will reduce manual effort and assist in making business decisions. * Apply best practices to deliver high-quality intuitive reporting of manufacturing data to advance the state of the art in efficiency optimization and predictive analytics. * Develop reports utilizing connections to manufacturing system databases and data to curate Enterprise-wide financial and operational views for Business customers. * Provide WestRock leadership with highly valuable and transparent reporting that will drive decisions for the entire enterprise.
