The Global Supply Management (GSM) Function is recognized as a critical function for business success. It delivers the training, tools and opportunities needed to create innovative solutions for the function & the corporation. GSM has leading edge, effective processes to anticipate and exceed customer requirements. **Purpose and Major Responsibilities of Position:** + Be familiar with export control regulations for major countries worldwide: + Be proficient in US export control. Familiar with US export control regulations and US Export Control Classification Number (ECCN). + Be familiar with China export control laws and China Export Control Number (ECN). + Be familiar with EU, Japan export control regulations. + China dual-use items import and export management: + Familiar with regulations and certification procedures for China dual-use items import and export. + Develop and implement import and export procedures to ensure the imports and exports are comply with China dual-use items import and export regulations. + Create and monitor China dual-use item export compliance management system. + Global Trade System (GTS) and Shipping Request Application system maintain for Asia Region: + Maintain HS and ECCN in GTS. + GTS order and delivery note check and release. + Shipping Request Application order and delivery note check and release. + GTS integration projects support, such as GTS testing and go live. + Sanction Party List screening: + Regularly Sanction Party List offline screening for non-GTS entities. + Newly added Sanction Party Lists screening. + End User Certificate (EUC) process implementation and End User Certificate review & tracking: + Follow up and implement global End User Certificate process. + Review End User Certificate. + Filling and tracking End User Certificate. + Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) permit or license application: + Support plants and BU to apply MOFCOM end-user statements. + Support plants and BU to apply Export Control permit or license. + Support plants and BU to apply China dual-use items and technology import and export license. + Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify potential issues on export control and China dual-use items import and export, develop strategies to mitigate risks. + Stay up-to date with regulation changes in export control and China dual-use items import and export, communicate any updates or changes to relevant stakeholders within the organization. + Provide guidance and training to employees on export control and China dual-use items import and export. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, logistics, procurement and commercial to ensure compliance throughout the supply chain. **Minimum Knowledge and Skill Requirements:** Required + Bachelor’s degree + Minimum 5 years of experience in trade compliance export control and classification + In-depth knowledge of global export control regulations, including export controls, trade sanctions, China dual-use items import and export. + Experience in SAP GTS (Global Trade Systems export/import control module) + Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulations and implement effective compliance strategies. + Outstanding attention to detail and communication skill. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal and external partners.
