About This Role

As the Lead, Commercial Change Enablement & Knowledge Management, you will play a critical role in driving successful business transformation initiatives. You will develop and execute change management strategies, training programs, and communication plans to ensure seamless adoption of new processes, technologies, and business enhancements.

You will act as a trusted advisor to leaders, project teams, and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and fostering a culture of adaptability, resilience, and innovation.

Your Role Will Consist Of:

Here’s a snapshot of your day-to-day responsibilities:

Provide strategic planning and advisory support to global business areas and cross-functional teams to improve processes, assess technology, and enhance talent for change enablement.

Develop and implement change management strategies that align with overall Commercial objectives.

Oversee international change projects from initiation to execution, ensuring timely completion and successful outcomes.

Deliver comprehensive change management support to drive adoption and long-term success of Commercial initiatives.

Create and execute communication plans and training programs to facilitate smooth transitions during change initiatives.

Plan and coordinate direction-setting efforts, including process standardization, technology implementation, and talent development.

Design and develop engaging training materials, including guidelines, procedures, e-learning modules, and workshops.

Collaborate with the Center of Excellence, Business Improvement Team, and Commercial groups to assess business requirements and anticipate change impacts.

Ensure global training programs align with the center-led operating model, including course curricula, documentation, and change management materials.

Manage a global document library, ensuring compliance with regulatory and operational requirements while aligning with best practices.

Foster an inclusive and collaborative work environment where team members feel empowered to contribute, receive feedback, and grow professionally.

Your Training, Skills, and Experience Checklist

What We Need to See From You:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field.

MBA preferred.

Experience:

Industry experience in mining, construction, oil & gas, or other asset-intensive industries.

Extensive expertise in strategic planning, change management, process improvement, technology assessment, and talent development.

Hands-on experience with Commercial operations in a center-led or global environment leveraging SAP and SAP Ariba.

Strong knowledge of systems oversight, procurement, sourcing, contract administration, and knowledge management platforms.

Proficiency in SAP, SAP Ariba, and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Skills & Abilities:

Advanced expertise in strategic planning, change management, and training development.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive collaboration across global teams.

High analytical proficiency, with experience in process optimization, data analysis, and ERP system utilization.

Proven ability to lead complex projects and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.

Strong communication skills with the ability to develop and present business cases to all levels, including executive leadership.

Experience in managing organizational change, overcoming resistance, and fostering adaptability.

Working Conditions and Location

This position is based at the Denver Corporate Office, with flexibility in location.

Some travel may be required to support regional change management initiatives.

The salary range offered for this role is USD $118,600 - $150,195. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience.  The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s salary history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about salary history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.  


This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance.
