The EHS Lead position will be responsible for managing the EHS Advisors and will be responsible for ensuring his/her team actively promotes a health, safety and environmental culture to all levels of employees.
What You'll Do Here
Manage EHS Advisors Work with Project Management Staff with implementation of project safety requirements Promote, educate and reinforce Company Safety Policies and Regulatory Standards Train project staff in the requirements of conventional safety procedures Track and report safety-related statistics Manage Return to Work, Modified duties cases at the field level Complete and document EHS field inspections, observations and incident investigation reports Ensure proper case management for any work-related injuries or illness Support field activities
What You Bring To The Team
A designation such as OSHA 510 or OSHA 511 Minimum 7 years of senior experience in Health and Safety within the nuclear industry Certifications from the Board of Safety Professionals (BCSP) a plus. Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent experience in the Health and Safety Field A Team Player that accepts and can manage change regularly Demonstrated Leadership abilities with strong interpersonal and communication skills Must be comfortable working in Radiological Work Areas Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, etc.
Physical Requirements
Work outage shift schedules – ex. 12hr shifts 6-7 days a week Report to work Fit For Duty (FFT)
