**The Opportunity:**
As Lead, Global Market Access AT845, you will be responsible for ensuring that all relevant payer/HTA needs are incorporated and reflected in our development programs to ensure value maximization and future reimbursement success across priority markets.
You will play an important part in ensuring that payer/HTA perspectives and needs are reflected in our product decision making and that payer value requirements are reflected in early evidence and our value & pricing strategy from pre-CN phase decisions through commercialization.
You will be part of the core Asset Maximization Team (AMT) and will bring your Global Access, Reimbursement, Pricing, and Health Economics subject matter expertise to help shape the overall commercial development strategy.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Represent global market access as a core member of assigned Asset Maximization Teams as well as work on BD assessment teams.
+ Collaborate closely with AMT leadership colleagues to understand and actively anticipate input required from market access/HTA perspective for the early-stage development programs including for key decision points and development stage gates -DAPs.
+ Lead Payer/HTA insights generation, provide views on Access landscape, develop comprehensive market access/HTA strategy including development of initial payer needs tool to support iEGP process.
+ Be the voice of global market access for the assigned early pipeline assets, assess payer value opportunity and actively shape outcome of stage up decisions from a market access perspective.
+ Build value vision; identify price reimbursement opportunity(ies); and define indication sequencing for new products throughout development.
+ Lead and exercise discretion on most appropriate mode of insights generation – e.g. conducting secondary research, leveraging existing knowledge/resources, contracting external consultancy / primary research agencies etc.
+ Actively drive incorporation of payer/HTA insights and requirements into shaping clinical development programs.
+ Work cross functionally and with other global and/or local market access leads when appropriate especially related to GMAx input into BD assessments.
**Essential Knowledge & Experience:**
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
+ English professional level in speaking and writing.
+ Extensive Global / International experience in a Market Access Early Pipeline role within a major pharma/biotech company with strong patient/customer focus and understanding of US market.
+ Direct experience working in Cell/Gene/Rare Disease.
+ Strong understanding of early pipeline development space and processes.
**Preferred Knowledge & Experience:**
+ Post-graduate qualification such as MBA and/or MSc or equivalent.
+ Direct experience working in broad set of Therapeutic Areas especially in early pipeline.
+ Direct HTA/HE experience and understanding.
+ Other language skills are a plus, ideally of key markets.
**Additional information:**
+ This is a permanent full-time position.
+ Location: This position is based in Canada.
+ This position follows our hybrid working model. Role requires a blend of home and minimum 1 day per quarter in our respective local affiliate office. Flexibility may be required in line with business need. Candidates must be located within a commutable distance of the office.
