Lead, Global Marketing Operations, Basketball
Global Marketing Operations is the operating system of the marketing team. We are a team of problem solvers, strategic thinkers who make the magic of Nike, real for our consumers. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a Global Marketing Operations Lead, someone who is a go getter, self-starter, organized, efficient, solutions oriented, and energized by teamwork and measurable results.
This role’s success is critical in navigating the matrix, building relationships, leadership within teams, and driving accountability. This person will be responsible for driving clarity within our seasonal work streams, and ensuring expectations and outcomes are clear.
This is a highly visible role that will need to effectively communicate across many layers of the organization simultaneously. The ideal candidate needs to have the skill to make quick and accurate decisions and communicate them across functions, acting as the Operations quarterback that team members can trust and count on.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
You will lead the Consumer Field of Play portfolio offense for Marketing Operations, driving operational excellence across the strategic priorities of the business through world class campaigns in order to bring the Nike brand to life for the consumer.
You will manage and lead the executional process through CODE Marketing, streamline processes, manage workflow and communication, and lean into ways of working for your projects. Your ability to operationalize and drive discipline in the Consumer Field of Play’s operating model from, project plans, platform management, and schedules is a top priority to ensure projects are delivered on time, in budget, and with winning results.
You are a critical leader of an integrated Marketing team and you must be able to deliver projects simultaneously season over season, ensuring teams are clear on expectations and outcomes at every milestone.
WHO YOU WILL WORK
This role will report directly to the Global Director of Operations of Mens and work closely with Brand Marketing, Marketing Functions (digital, media, creative, retail), Cross-Functional Operations, Brand Marketing Planning, Marketing CODE, Geo’s, and other internal Business partners.
You will be part of a Marketing Operations team and will partner with the Director of Global Marketing Operations, Men’s for guidance as you learn and grow in your experience. You are a key partner to Brand Marketing, and you will work as the quarterback of Operations to ensure the team and projects are tracking.
This is a highly collaborative role within a network of Operational experts and leaders, whose mission is to deliver best in class storytelling and innovation to our consumers with operational excellence and discipline.
WHAT YOU BRING
The skills and duties necessary for success include…
Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 6 years of direct relevant work experience in operations, marketing, and or project management (Note: One of the following alternatives may be accepted: PhD or Law + 3 yrs; Masters+ 4 yrs; Associates degree + 6 yrs; High School + 7 yrs)Ability to manage oversight of multiple projects and prioritization of the business and impact.Delivers operational expertise, bringing new, innovative trends and thinking to the team.Holds teams accountable to timelines, budgets, scope, and production to ensure on time delivery.Ability to define a clear path for success on complex projects and be comfortable elevating risks and solutions.
