This position will support the design, strategy and guideline development of new concept elements inclusive of store design, fixtures, mannequins, and experiences. Coordinating internally with store development partners, as well as many cross-functional partners including Visual Merchandising, Operations, and Marketing. This person must have a comprehensive understanding of retail strategy, the ability to bring the brand to life in a 3-dimensional space while working in a fast-paced environment. They must also demonstrate the ability to influence others to gain alignment across the organization while ensuring decisions are made at major milestones. **Your Impact** • Supports the design of new concepts and elements, primarily focused on translating retail strategies and consumer insights into physical, engaging, and experiential environments. • Helps to build design strategies and utilizes strategic inputs to inform work. • Leads new physical store design - understands materiality, constructability, function, and retail requirements. • Deep understanding of architectural and construction methods. • Familiarity with specifications and shop drawings. • Provides clear, effective, and timely communication of design direction to internal and external partners. • Monitors and supports preparing reports on the retail industry (Owned & Operated, Partner and Wholesale). Inclusive of best practices, trends, innovations, and opportunities for UA across Store Design, Fixtures, Mannequins, and Experiences at Retail. • Leads in material & finish selection of architectural elements. • Strong presentation skills both written and verbal. • Helps to manage outside professional design/ architecture firms. • Is comfortable receiving feedback and incorporating feedback into designing solutions that work across different regions and formats. • Contributes to team goals by achieving target milestones and meeting all established deadlines. • Can communicate design/architectural standards and guidelines through clear, effective graphic communication using standardized templates. • Familiarity with specifications and shop drawings. • Provides clear, effective, and timely communication of design direction to internal and external partners. • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment to support special projects. **Qualifications** • Knowledge of architectural details and specifications for an understanding of constructability. • Organizational skills; attention to detail. • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and build effective working relationships. • Ability to balance design, with operational needs and budget objectives resulting in exceptional store environments. • Ability to execute multiple designs under tight deadlines. • Time management, prioritization, and communication skills. • Ability to confidently lead work groups of internal stakeholders including visual merchandising, operations, marketing, merchants, IT, asset protection, and Under Armour leadership. **Requirements** • 5-8 years of professional experience. • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design or Industrial Design. • Professional License track preferred. • Retail experience required. • General understanding of building codes & environmental regulations. • Experience in shop drawing reviews. WORKPLACE LOCATION • Location: Baltimore o Travel: 5-10% of the year • Return To Work Designation: Hybrid • Proficiency using AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch Up, V-Ray, and Adobe Creative Suite. **Physical Requirements** **Base Compensation** $98,532.00 - $135,480.40 USD Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
