GrabInsure is part of Grab Financial Group, which includes GrabPay, GrabFinance, and Digital Banking businesses. GrabInsure's mission is to design innovative insurance that enables millions of people in Southeast Asia to protect themselves and their families against life's uncertainties. We have already launched several "first-of-their-kind" products including micro-health and Usage Based Auto Insurance.
As of 2025, GrabInsure has evolved from a distribution-focused insurtech to a full stack insurtech, obtaining its first insurance license in Singapore. The mission of the team remains the same - to create insurance solutions to protect our customers from life's uncertainties.
Get to Know the Role
Reporting to the Regional Head of Insurance Operations, you will be responsible for the overall motor claims strategy, P&L, processes, and relationships. This role is based onsite at our Grab One North office.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
Leading the development of claims management philosophy and strategy, in line with the company's goals and customer service philosophy.Leading the tactical decision making and trade-off process in developing the motor claims management processes.Collaborating with the Operational, Product, Technology teams and other functions to set up the claims management function, processes, systems, and customer journey.Building and owning the key relationships necessary for an effective claims management strategy and function - TPAs, adjusters, workshops, OEMs, technology partners.QualificationsWhat Essential Skills You Will Need
Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in motor claims or related roleSignificant managerial and leadership experience, with experience in setting up or transforming (with a digital/technological angle) claims processesIn-depth knowledge of the Singapore motor claims and recovery process, including regulatory requirements, best practices, and emerging trends.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.Additional InformationLife at Grab
