About the role: Under the supervision of the Production Supervisor, theProduction Lead (3rd shift)will be responsible for the coordination of daily shift operations. Key responsibilities include: + Responsible for supporting and improving efficient equipment operation, training, organization, personnel issues, and employment placement on each shift. + Organization of day-to-day operations of shift including troubleshooting as needed. + Ensure correct completion of all shift paperwork. + Enforce company policies, safety standards, GMP standards, and HACCP. + Cross-train to be able to work in both areas of Molding and Chocolate Production. + Coordinate daily shift operations. + Audit shift and employee performance through SWF (Standard Work Form). + Review MUV report daily. + Perform quality checks of products and advice on how to solve issues. + Commit to fulfilling the expectations of quality and service of the clients, as well as the current regulatory compliance applicable to the food industry. + Responsible for reporting any situation of potential or real danger to your superior and the Quality department. About you: + High school diploma or equivalent. + Minimum 3 years of production manufacturing experience, ideally in the Food Manufacturing industry. + Mechanical ability/aptitude, is a plus. + Excellent problem-solving skills. + Computer skills; Excel and SAP, required. + Must be able to adhere to all GMP and food safety rules. + Experience driving a forklift is a plus. + Available for overtime when required. + Available to work on the weekends. + Good organization, math, written and oral communication, detail orientated, interpersonal skills. + Self-motivated, must work autonomously with a minimum of supervision.
