We are seeking a multifaceted and experienced Onboarding Lead to join our global business transformation program. Reporting to the Director, Organizational Readiness, this role is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive onboarding program for both internal and external team members involved in our Transformation Program. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in training and development, outstanding interpersonal skills, and a passion for ensuring smooth transitions and successful integrations.
ResponsibilitiesBe a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
Build and implement effective onboarding processes and frameworks for both program and project specific onboarding
Collaborate closely with program and project managers to understand the specific needs and requirements of customers joining various transformation programs and initiatives
Construct and manage onboarding materials, including orientation guides, training materials, and resources, to help participants in understanding the organization’s transformation vision and program-related outcomes, expectations, roles and responsibilities
Plan, coordinate and facilitate onboarding events, workshops and training sessions to ensure a positive and effective onboarding experience
Partner with HR and other relevant departments to ensure a detailed integration of onboarding activities with HR processes, such as employee onboarding paperwork, benefits enrollment, and IT setup
Collaborate with the Manager Organizational Change to align the onboarding process with the overall organizational change strategy and objectives
Conduct onboarding assessments and assemble feedback to continuously enhance the onboarding process and improve the overall experience for collaborators
Keep informed about industry standard methodologies and trends in onboarding to integrate innovative approaches and methods into the onboarding process
This role will also support other workstreams including Operational Readiness, Training as well as Change Management as required
QualificationsBachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Training and Development, Business Administration, Organizational Development
7-9 years’ experience in training and development and instructional design
Experience in crafting and implementing successful onboarding processes tailored to collaborator needs
Skilled in applying various training and development methodologies to deliver engaging and impactful onboarding programs
Familiarity with HR processes, such as employee onboarding paperwork, benefits enrollment, and IT setup, to ensure integration and alignment with HR practices
Understanding of project and program management principles and practices to effectively collaborate with program and project managers and align onboarding activities with program objectives
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to connect and build relationships with collaborators at all levels
Strong coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple onboarding activities simultaneously, ensuring seamless execution and timely delivery
Diligent and proactive, with a focus on delivering high-quality onboarding experiences
Ability to work independently and take ownership of the onboarding process and deliverables
Adaptable and flexible to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment

Salary Range: $103,000 - $127,000
The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
