You will play a key role in driving business strategy and execution forward by evaluating strategic business opportunities, analyzing and tracking partnerships, leading the cross-team initiatives. You will lead an evolving portfolio of strategic initiatives or processes to improve and optimize our business, operations and programs. You will be enabling greater coordination, efficiency, and velocity across the org and act as a change agent to help the organization shift from being an internal-only focused team to a business line. You will also be developing a robust business governance and reporting mechanism for the org to execute on the plan. The ideal candidate for this role has strong analytical skills, excellent time-management and organizational habits, experience navigating and influencing a cross-functional, matrix organization, and the ability to clearly communicate and present information to senior stakeholders. We're looking for someone who can zoom out to set a vision and solve problems from 30,000 feet, as well as zoom in to dive deep into the details! This role reports to the Head of GSS. **What You Will Do:** 1. **Top-down strategy refresh:** Co-create and maintain GSS top-down strategy document along with GSS steering committee (leadership team) 2. **Governance and rhythm of operations:** Set governance processes, manage rhythm and cadence of operations for the entire business. Act as the central PMO for key GSS-wide initiatives by distilling key insights from data 3. **Program/Project Management:** Execute on strategic programs and projects, usually related to x-fn efforts, such as improving x-team, multi-domain processes that require change or devising new response strategies to emerging business needs 4. **Process Improvement:** Identify the biggest operational gaps, inefficiencies, and risks using our user, platform and budget insights/data, customer feedback and deliver solutions that incorporate a strong understanding of existing problems and effective solutions 5. **Scale:** Build, maintain, and develop a strong communication cadence, strengthening regional and global understanding of key projects, programs, planning processes and strategies 6. **Develop Relationships and cross-org influence:** Collaborate with other functional areas (Product, Engineering, Sales, Business Development, People Operations, Legal, Finance etc within and outside of GSS) to ensure efficient and productive working relationships 7. **Market Intelligence:** Derive market intelligence through primary and secondary research in partnership with GSS domains and recommend actionable steps for teams to action on as necessary (run Market landscape analysis on market size/share/growth etc, Competitor benchmarking on pricing/financial performance/UX/experience/tech etc) **What you will need:** 1. 10+ years of experience in consulting, business intelligence and strategy. 2. MBA or degree in business/analytics/economics 3. Strong project management and governance expertise 4. Strong analytical and quantitative skills, proficient with Excel, Google Sheets, Dashboards, presentations etc 5. Self-starter - the ability to self-serve, investigate and get the data we require will make you much more effective in this role 6. You never hesitate to roll up your sleeves and address something hands-on, you persevere and remain resilient. 7. Comfortable with ambiguity; the ability to structure ideas into actionable plans 8. Experience in a high-growth environment 9. Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills with exposure to senior leadership, cross-functional teams and global teams **Preferred Qualifications:** 1. Excellent written (decks, papers) and verbal communication skills with exceptional emotional intelligence. 2. Ability to influence and motivate people across a variety of job functions through your relationships. 3. Superior organizational skills with the ability to juggle many tasks without losing sight of the highest priority items. 4. Strong bias towards action. You drive end-to-end results and are always thinking ahead. 5. Attention to detail and you are constantly looking for ways to tweak and optimize for better results.
