**Primary Objective** To ensure quality of In-Process packaging and finished products as per the ANI standards through accurate and timely analysis and enable customer departments take timely corrective actions and actively participation in troubleshooting. Contribute in protecting reputation of the organization by ensuring right quality product through precise measurement **Major Responsibilities** Jhagadia site will have three pouch packing lines followed by jar & BIB packing, the incumbent will have to provide In-Process Testing support to all the packing sections of manufacturing in the shift. • Ensure self consistently follow all EHS rules and procedures. • Ensure self immediately report any EHS incident and/or near misses (unsafe acts and conditions) promptly to supervision. • Attend all required safety training and medical surveillance program requirements. • Ensure self and team members wear all required PPE. • Complete required BBS observations • Incur zero injuries of self as a result of unsafe action/behavior or failure to follow established procedures or guidelines. Adaptability, Innovation, Initiative, Teamwork, Integrity • Interpersonal skills in order to have healthy relationship with colleagues working in different functions at site. **Education** ITI LACP (Laboratory assistant chemical plant) with 1-2 years' experience in FMCG or with 2-3 years' experience in chemical industry. **Accountability & Scope** • The position holder is responsible for analysis of in process packaging samples being manufactured in all packing lines as per defined testing procedure & frequency. • Position holder is responsible for smooth operation of in process packaging laboratory, calibration of measuring equipment in labs and manufacturing area. • The position holder looks after the functioning of QA equipment in unit labs in shifts & is responsible for the maintenance & proper operation of equipment, • Ensure right product quality is released for market by carrying out the timely and accurate analysis of all the finished products in shifts. • To ensure right quality in process by performing the analysis of intermediate products and in process checks to ensure the conformity to specified norms. • To maintain and upkeep the hygiene, cleanliness and workplace safety in lab. • To ensure adherence to EHS guidelines, focusing on safe working environment and complying with EHS audit citations pertaining to Quality. • To responsible to collect and overall management of the Retention Samples as per AN policy. • Achieve high level of reputability and reproducibility of in process packaging results, demonstrate active participation in Inter laboratory error control An Equal Opportunity Employer Abbot welcomes and encourages diversity in our workforce.
