Lead Actimize Developer
**Job Role:** **Lead Actimize Developer** **Location:** Remote **Duration:** 10+ months with possible extension or possible FTE Conversion **Contract Type:** W2 **Shift:** 8-5 PM; Must Be Able To Work EST Hours **Days of the week:** Mon-Fri 40 hours **Travel:** Travel to Pittsburgh 1 time/yr (budgeted) **OT:** No **Job description:** **Roles and Responsibilities:** + Delegates to and coaches Developers. + Provide technical and analytical advice to the portfolio and business units regarding the BANK technology architecture and strategy.Provides expert analytical and technical knowledge for applications and application interfaces within the fraud business segment. + Requires knowledge across multiple platforms and processes, as well as broad knowledge of new technology. + Partners with Application Architects providing analytical and technical support for large project development or complex maintenance efforts. Leads maintenance teams in resolving production issues, ensuring changes to production meet stated business objectives and are supportable. + Accountable for the development of renewal strategies, capacity management and preventative maintenance initiatives. **Position Deminisions and Scope :** + Demonstrates expert knowledge of applications/technologies within the portfolio. Functions as the technical systems expert providing relevant solutions and recommendations based on the BANK architecture and strategy. + Understands and effectively communicates all business impacts of changes or problems. Partners with all IS areas and the business units to provide technical and analytical advice to the portfolio and business units regarding the BANK technology architecture and strategy. Effectively delegates to Developers while coaching their efforts and maintaining overall accountability. Works to support goals of team, willingly shares knowledge and skills, and spends significant time mentoring Developers. + Recognizes where issues lie and formulates strategies to address. Communicates frequently and professionally to team members, external vendors, other I/S personnel, and clients. Contributes to the definition of best practices and standards for assigned applications. Understands when and how to escalate issues to management team. + Responsible for the maintenance of applications within a segment, focusing on resolving production outages, completion of root cause analysis and improving stability and performance of the application portfolio. + Accountable for development of renewal strategies, capacity management and preventative maintenance initiatives. Provides accurate and timely estimates for First Year Support associated with development initiatives. Partner with development team to ensure quality and supportability of new and/or enhanced applications. Assist with definition of requirements and evaluation of vendor Request for Proposals (RFP). Partner with other IS areas to effectively implement use of tools in support of the production environment, make improvements in applications within the segment and address production issues. Create and analyze production support metrics for improvement opportunities and implement the appropriate changes/adjustments, conduct ticket analysis and trending **Functional Responsibilities:** + Enable Business Strategy: Partners with all IS areas and the business units to understand the Bank technology architecture and strategy, including emerging technologies. Provides relevant solutions and recommendations to management and clients based on Bank technology architecture and strategy. Identifies and communicates all business impacts of changes or problems. Ensures the interoperability and reuse of code developed. + Maintains knowledge of current standards, policies and procedures and audit requirements. Communicates with clients, external vendors, IS personnel, and team members as required. + Maintains and develops technical skills to keep current in systems programming and analysis techniques for assigned applications in portfolio or technologies. Possesses a breadth of knowledge with multiple technologies, platforms or systems, functions as an application expert. + Situation Management: Resolves and/or coordinates the resolution of all production outages for the applications within the segment utilizing consistent situation management processes + Application Maintenance: Identify and implement operational/system improvements, automation to reduce processing costs, system decommissioning and system replacements/improvements. Coordinates for the application segment support for Disaster Recovery planning and hotsite testing. + Application Development: Responsible for application tuning such as strobe, database queries, performance and performance enhancements. Partners with development team to ensure quality and supportability of new and/or enhanced applications. Assists with definition of requirements and evaluation of vendor RFP; Partners with IS to implement use of tools in support of the production environment, making improvements and addressing production issues. + Vendor/Client Management.
