Lead Advanced Mfg Engineer

As a Lead ISC Engineering AME for NPI here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for leading the Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) Engineering Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME) team for New Product Introduction (NPI) projects. You will drive the successful implementation of new products into manufacturing, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and customer requirements.
You will report directly to our ISC Engineering Director and you'll work out of our Phoenix Arizona location on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will have a significant impact on the success of NPI projects by collaborating with cross-functional teams, optimizing manufacturing processes, and ensuring efficient production.

Key Responsibilities
+ Lead the ISC Engineering AME team for NPI projects, ensuring successful implementation of new products into manufacturing with focus on Design for manufacturing, cost, and APQP PPAP elements
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes and ensure efficient production
+ Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, reduce costs, and increase productivity
+ Develop and implement strategies to streamline NPI processes and improve time-to-market
+ Provide technical expertise and guidance to resolve manufacturing issues and ensure product quality
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S.
YOU MUST HAVE
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or related roles
+ Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and NPI methodologies
+ Experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives
WE VALUE
+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as engineering or manufacturing; Master's degree in engineering or related preferred.
+ Experience in the aerospace or automotive industry
+ Six Sigma certification
+ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
