Lead Analyst, FP&A (Hybrid- Long Island, NY)

Responsible for all FP&A activities in support of the ICS Canada organization, including actuals reporting, forecast preparation and delivery of insight and analytics both to understand and optimize financial performance, ensuring monthly deliverables are met and key controls are adhered to. Analyzes internal financial information (e.g., profit and loss accounts, financial statements, working capital, costs, prices, expenses, revenues, rates of return) including forecasts for future financial goals. Performs financial evaluation and modeling of potential investment opportunities, impacts of financial transactions, and corporate development activities. Analyzes external economic conditions and their impact on business operations (e.g., inflation).

Reporting to the Senior Finance Director, the Lead Analyst, FP&A will utilize their financial and strategic analytical skills to support the FP&A group on key initiatives including month-end close, budgeting and planning, building business unit dashboards/metrics, process improvements, business case development, pricing, and decision support.

Responsibilities:

Drive financial performance and business activity, deliver and communicate performance and business planning submissions/reporting, and advise management on key driversAssist in building business unit and departmental dashboards and measure/monitor key metrics/KPIsAssist in preparing the annual budget, strategic plan, and forecastsDrive special projects requiring high-level financial skills and strong understanding of financial processes (business case development, product P&L, KPI/metrics tracking, etc.)Foster a culture of change and continuous process improvement by finding and implementing new and efficient ways of workingLead pricing initiatives for new product launches or business initiatives, including M&A activitiesCollaborate and build effective partnerships with teams in Canada, the US, and the UK, and establish effective lines of communicationWork cross-functionally as a team player in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, with an eagerness to learn about the business and industrySupport onboarding and training for new associates and existing staff regarding new procedures and processesPerform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; MBA preferred4+ years of experience in a financial analyst or accounting roleExcellent organization, oral, and written communication skillsStrong ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple priorities, and work well under pressureDemonstrated leadership skills and strong team orientationHigh proficiency with PCs and software, especially Excel, Access, Word; Power BI preferred

Salary range $95,000.00- $110,000.00.Bonus Eligible.
