Lead Analyst, Web Analytics
Description About the Role... We are seeking a data-driven and detail-oriented eCommerce Marketing Analyst to join our team. This individual will leverage data and insights from multiple marketing channels to optimize performance and guide strategic decision-making. The expectation for the team is to go beyond traditional analytics reporting and provide actionable insights and to facilitate change and drive business outcomes. If you have experience reporting on email campaign performance (Batch & Blast, Trigger Emails, SMS/MMS, Push), conducting Email A/B testing, and using Adobe Analytics, Domo, and SQL, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities Include: • Marketing Channel Analysis: Use Adobe Analytics and offsite marketing data to provide a comprehensive view of channel performance, focusing on key eCommerce KPIs. • Email Campaign Reporting: Report on the effectiveness of traditional email campaigns (Batch & Blast, Trigger Emails, SMS/Push) and email A/B testing, identifying optimization opportunities. • Customer Journey Insights: Conduct deep dive analysis to identify gaps and opportunities across customer journeys, broken down by channel and campaign type. • Collaborate with Marketing Teams: Partner with brand email marketing and operational teams to develop reporting that tracks the customer journey from email send to final purchase. • Cross-Department Partnership: Work with centralized marketing teams to enhance Adobe Analytics usage, ensuring accurate site behavior data is leveraged in strategy, reporting, and analysis. • KPI Definition & Strategy Support: Support email and organic social strategy development, aligning KPIs with reporting and analysis to optimize campaign performance. • Reporting & Communication: Create, update, and distribute eCommerce reports; share actionable insights with the brand team to inform strategy. • Collaboration & Best Practices: Work closely with peers to ensure consistent reporting, share best practices, and improve team systems knowledge. • Tool Evaluation & Improvement: Evaluate current reporting tools and recommend improvements to enhance reporting capabilities. • Tagging & Tracking Implementation: Collaborate with brand and creative teams to implement proper tagging across website elements, ensuring accurate reporting on changes or additions. • SQL & Database Reporting: Translate business requirements into database queries using SQL to provide reports that help the company understand customer behavior and drive insights. • Data Quality & Troubleshooting: Analyze multiple data sources to identify and resolve data quality issues, improving overall data reliability. Qualifications: • 3-5 years of hands-on business analysis experience, with a strong understanding of data extraction and manipulation from large-scale databases and systems. • Ability to work effectively with teams in a collaborative, cross-functional environment. • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data insights clearly to various stakeholders. • Experience in retail industry and digital marketing data is a plus. • Proficient in Adobe Analytics, Domo, and SQL. • Strong understanding of email marketing channels, including A/B testing, Batch & Blast, Trigger Emails, SMS/MMS, and Push notifications. Qualifications: + Proficient in Adobe Analytics and familiar with data dimensions and views. + Experience with segmentation and creating segments. + Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. + Ability to translate data into meaningful insights and recommendations. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
