Lead Analyst
What you’ll do:

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager,the Lead Financial Analyst - Working Capital is responsible for ensuring Eaton achieves working capital improvements related to payables over the next three years, reporting to the Process Lead FP&A and functionally to Senior Finance Manager SCM. This role will partner closely with the global organization and work heavily in a cross-functional environment. Collaboration with Supply Chain, Shared Services, Treasury, Finance, IT, and Digital Services will be fundamental to achieving success. The role will drive efficiency and value to the organization through standardizing, analyzing, and reporting on key metrics, including financial operations, payment terms, and communications. This is a crucial role to help Eaton achieve its goals. 

•  Key member responsible for analyzing Working Capital data and collaborating globally with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain, Financial Shared Services, Treasury, IT, and others
•   Analyze, develop and implement supplier payment term strategies 
•   Build insightful analytical models 
•   Support supplier negotiations withs supply chain finance expertise
•   Support cash flow initiatives and working capital improvement programs
•   Develop systemic solutions to manual process through  automation, consolidation and standardization of reporting 
•   Develop payment term analysis and reporting to highlight areas of opportunity in driving working capital improvement 
•   Manage ad hoc analyses in support of the global procurement function

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Information Technology, Supply Chain or related field from an accredited institution

Minimum 8-10 years experience in Accounting/Finance related role

•   Experience with data analytics and analyzing complex datasets
•   Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint
•   Detail-oriented, analytical and accurate
•   Comfort and familiarity with a fast-paced, dynamic, and ambiguous global work environment
•   Strong written and verbal communication skills
•   Excellent analytical skills to interpret and relate financial data into key insights, drivers and commentary
•   Ability to manage time and responsibilities effectively
 

Skills:

•   Experience with data analytics and analyzing complex datasets
