Lead Analyst
**38958BR** **Extended Job Title:** Lead Analyst **Org Level 1:** Texas Tech Unv Hlth Sci Ctr El Paso **Position Description:** Performs specialized analytical duties in the operation and maintenance of assigned area. Responsibilities include collecting, analyzing and developing data relative to area, making recommendations and assisting in implementation of projects. Work is performed under general supervision with latitude for independent judgment in accordance with established policies and procedures. **Requisition ID:** 38958BR **Travel Required:** Up to 25% **Major/Essential Functions:** + Dashboard Design and Maintenance: Build and maintain dashboards to develop informative, effective reports and visualizations. Disseminates clinical quality metric specifications for reporting development. + Database Management and Analytics: Validates clinical and financial data against various clinical applications. Extract, merge, clean and transform data from multiple clinical applications. Organize and summarize data extractions. + Clinical Information Systems: Collaborate with the OSHI and CIS teams to provide feedback on clinical information systems enhancements (EMR, RMS, PACS, etc.) in support of clinic workflows. Assist the department Director coordinating clinical information systems project implementation efforts. Work in close collaboration with the Office of Strategic Business intelligence in support of the TIPPS program and business intelligence initiatives. + Department Informatics tools: Develop and maintain the department's SharePoint sites. Develop, maintain technical documentation: quick tips guides, data dictionaries related to clinical applications. Communicate with webmaster to ensure department's website is accurate and up to date. + Effective and professional communication: Present data by preparing charts, tables, and graphs. Participate and collaborate with internal and external committees. Act as point of contact to coordinate internal and/or external stakeholders in addressing clinical application issues. + Other duties as assigned: Open to changing needs of department and position, proactively prioritizes needs, projects, works, under the support and guidance of department director. + Adhere to all TTUHSCEP policies, procedures and processes. + Personally demonstrate, display, and act in accordance with TTUHSCEP’s values (Service, Respect, Accountability, Integrity, Advancement, and Teamwork).
