What the day will look like.
+ Working with multi-functional teams in the successful delivery of integration endpoints for a new Broking Platform for Aon using analytical skills, agile methodologies, and software development expertise.
+ Inspire, motivate, and effectively communicate with project team members, measuring performance and giving appropriate feedback.
+ Work with multiple Product teams in various Aon Business units.
+ Collaborate with Aon Architects to define objectives, Integration scope, endpoints, etc.
+ Develop strategies and formulate technical solutions for rapid development of REST APIs for new Broking Platform.
+ Build or coordinate artifacts that are required in the SLDC process.
+ Provide reviews and necessary development support to development teams around API development.
+ Writes code as needed, particularly when its complex or difficult to achieve performance / scalability target.
+ Perform frequent code reviews to ensure highest standards for quality.
+ Educate and share knowledge with team members on modern technology and tooling options.

You will be collaborating with various teams across various solution lines in Aon and have the responsibility to deliver REST APIs for process integrations with various products for the new Broking Platform.
Skills and experience that will lead to success.
+ Overall 8+years of IT experience with minimum 3+ years of experience as technical and team leader.
+ 5+ years of hands-on experience in JSON, Web API, and Restful services (.Net Core, Web API).
+ Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with Eventing and Messaging systems.
+ Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience working with relational databases like SQL server and Oracle.
+ Minimum 3+ years of Azure Cloud development is required as preference.
+ Highly experienced in implementation of API Integrations and n-tier architecture application development
+ Experience with integrating, developing, and troubleshooting Azure services such as Cosmos DB, AI Search
+ Experience in application testing
+ Strong understanding of importance of Software security best practices pertaining to development and application dev testing.
+ Good familiarity with object-oriented programming, application architectures and design patterns
+ Good working knowledge of Azure DevOps, Code check-in, Git, Branching/Merging and CI/CD experience
+ Bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent experience in software engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field
+ Effectively communicate with clarity and confidence to both technical audience and business users.

Pay Transparency Laws:
The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $120,000 - $130,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
