Lead Applications Development - Oracle Developer
**Job Description:** **Key Roles and Responsibilities:** Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following: • **Software Development:** Code and test new software applications to meet business requirements and user needs. • **Application Maintenance and Performance Optimization:** Maintain and update existing applications to fix bugs, improve performance, and ensure compatibility with new technologies. • **Requirement Analysis and Documentation:** Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements/user stories, creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation. • **Quality Assurance and Technical Support:** Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing, providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance. • **Collaboration and Project Management:** Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, managing development projects and staying updated with industry trends and technologies. **Job Contribution:** An experienced professional, recognized as an expert, creatively resolving complex issues with broad and in-depth knowledge. Leads significant projects with strategic autonomy, influencing executive decisions. Mentors less experienced staff, implements long-term plans impacting the organization, and frequently collaborates with senior leadership. Qualification: + 12+ years of hands-on Oracle development experience covering full SDLC. + Proficient in PL/SQL programming. + Good understanding of Oracle19c internals + Good knowledge of Tomcat software + Strong experience with Windows & Linux OS + Good understanding of performance management and transactional processing. + Proficient in troubleshooting of Oracle performance issues. + Experience designing, developing, recovering and enhancing Oracle database for WEB applications. + Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills + Ability to work well in a team environment. + Experience with MS SQL Server. + Experience with schema design and partitioning will be a plus. + Understanding of query plan and using Oracle Enterprise Manager to analyze/improve it is preferred. + Experience with processing of large data sets is preferred. + Experience with full SDLC of a large batch processing system will be a plus. **Weekly Hours:** 40 **Time Type:** Regular **Location:** Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India It is the policy of AT&T to provide equal employment opportunity (EEO) to all persons regardless of age, color, national origin, citizenship status, physical or mental disability, race, religion, creed, gender, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, genetic information, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law.
