Your role will include:
Leveraging in-depth knowledge of heavy industrial and process plant projects.
Applying strong understanding of key Australian Standards.
Engaging in client interfacing roles with prior experience.
Designing detailed electrical, instrumentation, and control systems.
Utilizing power systems software effectively.
Understanding functional safety and Hazardous Area principles.

What are we looking for from you?
Alongside your industry experience in similar engineering consulting, or equivalent roles, you’ll also have experience in the following areas:
Qualifications and Experience:
Degree in Electrical Engineering recognized by Engineers Australia (CPEng preferred).
Minimum of 10 years of post-graduate experience on industrial projects in sectors such as energy, water, and mining, ensuring quality deliverables on schedule.
Technical Skills:
In-depth knowledge of MV and LV electrical distribution and motor control systems.
Familiarity with AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 3008.1.1, and AS/NZS 2067 standards.
Experience in Safety in Design practices, risk assessments, proposal preparation, and project planning.
Leadership and Communication:
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Utilize strong communication and leadership skills to address complex client issues effectively.
Develop and maintain internal and external networks to lead business development and tender responses.
Additional Skills:
Understanding of renewable energy, industrial communications systems, SCADA, PLC/DCS, and Hazardous Areas.
Knowledge of Hazardous Areas and Functional Safety standards (AS/NZS 60079, AS 61508, AS IEC 61511, AS/NZS 4024).
Experience in all project phases: concept, FEED, and detailed design.
Proactive interaction with Project Managers and engineers to develop project deliverables.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
