The Role
The Lead Associate Broker is primarily responsible for ensuring smooth underwriting processers. They are the colleague tasked with ensuring that all parties receive necessary documents and information and that calls are scheduled and run in an organized fashion. They are also, under the direct supervision of a Senior Broker, responsible for assembling submissions, reviewing and analyzing quotes, negotiating with underwriters, and keeping clients informed of placement status.

The Requirements
Insurance broker’s P&C/surplus lines license will be required.Undergraduate university degree required.3 – 5 years of experience minimum.Must have a thorough understanding of transactional insurance products and principles and be able to communicate them to underwriters and clients.Must have excellent negotiation, conflict resolution, and sales skills.Must have excellent attention to detail, be process-oriented, and be a self-starter with minimal need of supervision. Must be familiar with Microsoft Office suite. Must have solid written and oral presentation skills.Compensation and Benefits
Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation (Producer roles only).
Compensation
The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $100,000– $200,000 USD per year. This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
