Ensure all preventive maintenance and or customer requests are completed on schedule, either in-house or by a vendor.Responsible for performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently when required.Participate in after hours on-call program to respond immediately to emergency situations (fire, evacuation, equipment failure, etc.)Responsible for daily Maintenance, documenting activities and working within a Work Order system.Will participate in scheduling, coordinating of outside contractors for services and projects.Will support and be involved with the ordering process, parts and supplies for inventory and or repair
High school diploma or documented practical “hands on” experience.
Current CFC certification is helpful.
Must have at least five (3-5) years related experience in a large plant/building/facility environment.Experience in facilities/building management in a commercial or industrial building/facilities operation in science/biotech or related fields is helpful.Experience working with equipment monitoring systems such as BAS, BMS or similar type systems.Additional consideration given for hands-on experience with Refrigeration equipment (-20 & -80), maintaining, monitoring, fixing, and repairing!Working knowledge of Safety standards/requirements within a large environment.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Solid understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and Refrigeration equipment/systems.Must have troubleshooting skills to test facility/building equipment.Working Knowledge of electro-mechanical, pneumatic and water systems an added plus.Must have the ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings, along with the ability to read and comprehend technical manuals and instructions.Must be a hands-on team player committed to working in a quality driven environmentA willingness to continue education in other trade disciplines. We will support your on-going education.Knowledge and experience in space planning an added benefit.Ability to support Conference room set-ups, event set-ups.Must enforce to good documentation practices.Flexible working schedule will be considered.Must have a valid driver’s license
Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $31.00–$46.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
