Lead Business Analyst (26749) Minneapolis, MN | Contract Job Description Fulcrum Consulting, an LRS company is seeking a Lead Business Analyst with our client in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Lead Business Analyst (BA) will be responsible for overseeing the business workstreams within an integration program, ensuring consistency, coordination, and consolidation across all BA efforts. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Wealth Management, with a proven track record in leading and managing BAs. The BA Lead will also define and enforce business analysis processes, coordinate work efforts, and apply appropriate tools and methodologies to ensure the success of the program. Key Responsibilities: + Lead business workstreams for integration efforts, including managing business analysis activities and coordinating work efforts across multiple BAs. + Define, enforce, and ensure the implementation of standardized business analysis processes for the program. + Hold team members accountable for adherence to defined BA processes and deliverables. + Lead the discovery, analysis, and management of project requirements, ensuring thorough understanding and documentation. + Apply business analysis tools and techniques to ensure effective project execution and success. + Utilize Jira and Confluence for tracking, reporting, and collaboration. + Oversee scheduling methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and iterative methodologies, ensuring timely and efficient program and project delivery. + Provide expert knowledge on process mapping, gap analysis, and control identification to optimize business processes. + Apply RBC Program Management Framework to align with organizational objectives and ensure program success. + Demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to hold team members accountable and communicate effectively with stakeholders. + Manage and lead BAs and program teams, providing direction, mentorship, and support for team development. + Lead programs that involve high value (benefit/cost), complexity, confidentiality, sensitivity, and uncertainty. + Implement best practices for Risk System development to ensure robust program delivery. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration requirements are met and processes align with business goals. Required Qualifications: + Wealth Management business experience is a must. + 10+ years of experience in financial services as a Business Analyst, with a proven ability to lead and mentor other BAs. + Expertise in defining, implementing, and overseeing BA processes across integration programs. + Strong ability to lead discovery, analysis, and requirements management efforts for complex projects. + Extensive experience in utilizing Jira/Confluence for project management and collaboration. + Expert knowledge of various scheduling methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, iterative) and the ability to apply them appropriately. + Expertise in process mapping, gap analysis, and control identification. + Strong background in program management and status reporting, including metrics analysis. + Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience holding team members accountable. + Proven leadership and people management experience in managing teams within high-stakes programs. + Experience working with complex, sensitive, and high-value programs. + Knowledge of Risk System development best practices. Preferred Qualifications: + Undergraduate degree in business, finance, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus. + PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis) certification is a plus.
