Lead - Business Continuity

Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Lead - Business Continuity to join our team! In this role you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining business continuity and disaster recovery plans for Royal Commission Yanbu. This role ensures that the organization can effectively respond to and recover from disruptions, minimizing impact on operations and services. Help to drive department objectives, KPIs, and quality performance.

Reports the Director of Crisis & Disaster Management. Interfaces frequently with senior management personnel, both Saudi Arabian Parsons Limited (SAPL) and Royal Commission. Supervises relevant staff.

What You'll Be Doing:

Provides guidance and direction to specialist personnel and actively participates in the development of criteria and specifications, scope book, and actual performance of the task.

Interprets new or special governmental regulations, codes, standards, criteria and performance data.

Identify and implement relevant International Standards and Best Practice Guidance strategies.

Keeps abreast of technological advances in the respective field.

Applies expertise in a specialized field of security and crisis management to broadly stated problems.

Identifies and defines problems; plans and conducts research aimed at their solution.

Carries out special or unique studies requiring unconventional or novel approaches or research techniques.

Utilize all available guides and precedents and expands and develops where these contain critical gaps, are only partially related to the problem or are largely lacking because of the novel character of the task.

Conducts or leads special studies on new technologies, methods and materials.

Serves as consultant to project and specialist groups, providing advice and counsel on assignments having special and unique features.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Bachelor’s degree from a recognised western university or equivalent.

Minimum 12 years of work experience in a Western country or similar environment.

Proven record of successfully developing and implementing Business Continuity Management into an organization including compliance with International Standards such as ISO 22301.

Holds Professional Crisis Management Certifications in business continuity (e.g., CBCP, MBCI).

Has supervisory experience of International Crisis Management framework, processes, principles.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Excellent spoken and written English language skills. (Arabic would be an advantage)
