Lead Business Execution Consultant

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant.

Model and EUCT Risk Governance team. The role is responsible for the development and implementation of the control reporting processes to execute the Model and EUCT risk management policies.  We are looking for a results-driven individual who has good understanding of data structures and data lineage concepts with development background in C#, Python, and SQL. Problem-solving skills and attention to details are critical.


In this role, you will:

Lead cross functional teams to strategize, plan, and execute a variety of programs, services and initiatives

Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate

Review strategic approaches and effectiveness of support function and business performance

Perform assessments through fact finding and data requiring creative approaches to solving complex issues, and develop appropriate solutions or recommendations

Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business group's functional area or products, facilitate decision making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans

Collaborate and consult with members of the Business Execution team and team leaders to drive strategic initiatives

Influence, guide and lead less experienced Strategy and Execution staff within the group


Required Qualifications:

5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

Develop and produce various risk control reports in Model and EUCT Governance to monitor, track and ensure regulatory compliance using C#, Python, SQL and Visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau

Review and analyze moderately complex data aggregation, reporting, and programming models

Research and remediate data, production, and control issues in partnership with other SMEs and teams

Proficient experience in identifying and evaluating data trends, isolating root cause, and providing swift/thorough resolution

Perform reconciliations to source (or system of record) and highlight anomalies.

Perform various complex analytics activities related to solution design on data solutions.

Develop complex reporting to extract data and/or manipulate databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, and Teradata.

Collaborate and consult with peers and technology to resolve production issues.

Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development.

Manage process improvement initiatives to optimize operational effectiveness and efficiencies.

Automate/deliver control reporting from system of record.

Contribute as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to the CIB Model and EUCT Governance team and execute on deliverables for reporting to support internal processes and controls


Job Expectations:

Experience in programming with C#, Python, and SQL.

Experience with Power BI and other data visualization best practices

Good understanding in data structures and data lineage concepts

Familiarity with version control systems (e.g, Git)

Knowledge of HTML parsing libraries (e.g,  HtmlAgilityPack, BeautifulSoup)

Strong project management and execution skills, capable of managing multiple engagements simultaneously while delivering all commitments on time and with high quality

Subject matter expertise in Model and EUCT Risk Management policy and its implementation

Demonstrated ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas

Experience leading project teams

Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership abilities

Bachelors or above in quantitative disciplines like Computer Science/Finance

Experience in working across one or more geographic territories or regions especially with teams in the US
