About the Role:
In this role you are responsible for the entire process of purchasing for your selected purchasing groups and projects. Your primary focus is on continuous product availability for the region, supplier management, market research and reporting. The lead buyer works in strong collaboration with the procurement manager and support, as well as several internal departments such as Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory, Marketing, and Corporate to ensure that purchasing activities align with the company’s vision and objectives.
In this role you will report to the Procurement Manager and have the following responsibilities:
Purchasing activities linked to EU specific products & packagingMaintaining local vendor data, relationship building and contract managementManaging material master data (e.g. lead times, cost of goods, safety stocks, etc.)Utilize and optimize purchasing processes and toolsEnsure continuous product availability for the selected purchasing groups; proactively signal and resolve challenges together with procurement supportRegular reporting on and analyzation of purchasing activitiesSet-up local tenders in various purchase categoriesParticipating in cross-functional projects and meetingsProfileEducation: Bachelor level in business/logisticsExperience: 2-5 years of commercial/industry experienceLanguages: Excellent communication skills in English (Dutch is a pre)Strong MS Office (especially Excel) skillsProject management experienceTeam player and a positive, can-do mentalityAnalytical minded and results drivenProactive and persuasive personalityERP system experience is a preAvailable for 32-40hr/ weekContactIf you need more information please contact Sharon Munten, smunten@nuskin.com
