The Opportunity
You, as the Lead Buyer & Facility Expert, play a key role in managing procurement activities related to facility & car fleet operations, maintenance, and supplies, while also overseeing purchase of indirect goods, and services for the smooth functioning of the whole organization.
Supports end-to-end value delivery, the role collaborates closely with Business Partners and the Category Management teams to translate business requirements into robust sourcing strategies and be Partner with stakeholders to ensure a robust and transparent evaluation and selection process is followed.
Has knowledge of business enterprise tools (e.g. Mybuy, SAP. Docusign) and the overall procurement process / methodology, such as documenting requirements, conducting analysis and negotiations, and communicating with stakeholders and suppliers
Has a strong understanding of internal stakeholder functions and requirements, and effectively translates business needs into procurement requirements and actions.
Has deep knowledge of project management, the product development process, and Roche’s category and supplier management approach, and applies this expertise to project needs.
Lead the facility and car fleet categories and supplier spend management activities in the One Procurement concept with respective spend areas and lead Office Admin Team and Cleaning Personnel, ensure their effective work distribution
Manage car fleet operational management including maintenance, servicing, and insurance and close collaboration with the leasing companies and manage daily collaboration with Landlord to ensure clean and secure office environment and compliance with local and global regulations
Managing facility related activities for the office (e.g. cleaning, security, reception, kitchen & office supply, handyman, plant maintenance, post office)

Who you are
BA/Master degree, with technical/business related degree preferable with 3-5 years of experience in indirect procurement.
Experience or demonstrated understanding in supporting cost reduction and value creation and improvement programs, managing projects
Skilled in managing multiple projects simultaneously and working well under pressure
Good communication skills and demonstrated understanding of translating business requirements into procurement specifications with customer centricity in mind (experience with enterprise systems and Procure to Pay tools)
Experience in people management and leadership is an advantage for ensuring seamless coordination within the Office Admin team
Fluent in local language and proficient in English to collaborate internally across the broader Roche enterprise is expected.
