Lead Certified Nursing Assistant - Long Term Care

Hours: Full Time (40 hours a week) Day Shift

The CNA Group Leader takes a leadership role on the unit by modeling and teaching correct standards for resident care in performing basic routine nursing assistant duties/tasks, including assisting residents with activities of daily living, use of equipment, or performance of procedures within the responsibilities of the C.N.A. position.  In addition, the C.N.A. Group Leader performs supervisory duties for an assigned group of employees.  An essential responsibility of the resource for CNAs is to serve as a mentor/teacher for newly hired CNAs and Nursing Assistant Trainees.  The Group Leader C.N.A. works under the supervision of a licensed nurse (RN or LPN) at all times.

Required Qualifications:

Upon hire: Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License  Within 30 days of hire National Provider BLS - American Heart Association  One year: Experience as CNA at Providence-Seward Mountain Haven
