Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Lead Civil/Building Construction Inspector to join our team! In this role you will get to be part of a team and work in a dynamic, exciting and challenging role leading construction inspections for a large and complex project.

What You'll Be Doing:

Conducts inspections to determine if work has been done in accordance with contract documents comprised of plans and specifications and Federal, State and local codes and standards.  Reviewing and comparing works in relation to RFIs, submittals/deliverables, and formal changes changes.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Associate's Degree in a technical discipline or construction-related field, or a high school diploma and equivalent work experience, is required.  Also requires 10+ years of related experience on field projects, as well as formal certification from an independent organization (preferably International Building Code (IBC) or Division of the State Architect (DSA) or Office of Statewide Hospital Planning and Development (OSHPD) or equivalent, depending on type of inspection assignment.Some knowledge of public works contracts may be preferred.Familiarity with the California Building Code (CBC) and accessibility standards. Construction safety training including CalOSHA 10 hour training and Parsons SHARP training.


What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

Airport Capital Improvement project experienced is desired but not required.Experience in monitoring, verifying Civil/Building/MEP works-in-place are in accordance with Contract Documents, approved Shop Drawings, RFIs and approved changes.Good verbal and written communications are desired.Ability to prioritize and organize are desired.

Salary Range: 

$15.68 - $71.30
