\nJob Responsibilities\n\n Participate in all requirements and design discussions.\n Work along with development team to prioritize and develop identified features/modules\n Perform Unit tests and Code Reviews.\n Follow technical directions from leads.\n Follow the Development & Process Standards.\n Own delivery for items aligned to the individual.\n Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless integration of components developed.\n Proficient in troubleshooting code and applications.\n Effectively prioritize and execute tasks.\n Technical Skills and Experience\n\n 6 + years as a programmer/analyst using COBOL/CICS in a mainframe VSAM environment.\n Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) claims processing experience\n Demonstrated experience in COBOL, VSAM, JCL, TSO/ISPF, IBM Utilities, File Master, Endeavor\n Hands-on experience in translating design into high quality software code and performs testing and debugging.\n Using COBOL programming language and associated technologies, writes online and batch code, completes programming, and performs testing.\n Education\n
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 6 + years of programming experience in COBOL/CICS/VASM. Master’s degree is desired but not required.
