Job Description
The Lead Commercial Contracts position will provide support to Global Procurement Category Managers as the single point of contact for contractual matters. They will partner with Risk & Security, Legal, Privacy and various other teams to structure Supplier contracts that comply with company policies, government specifications and other requirements to mitigate risk and ensure Sabre protections. Specific duties include -
Drafting, redlining, evaluating, and negotiating contract terms and conditions (indemnity, limitation of liability, IP, confidentiality, warranty, etc.) for technology contracts (Software/SaaS, Professional Service Agreements, Consultant Agreements, Managed Services, etc.)Using agreed upon playbooks and tools – including leveraging and updating the Contract Management SystemArticulating strategy and contractual language to mitigate riskEnsuring contractual standards are metBuilding productive internal / external relationshipsInteracting effectively with internal stakeholders, Suppliers, Supplier Attorneys, and other external partiesManaging multiple projects concurrentlyDemonstrating professional expertiseApplying company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issuesExercising judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate actionEDUCATION:
JD (Juris Doctor) degree7 - 9 years of complex contract negotiating experience and ability to work independently with minimal supervisionEXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Drafting, evaluating, redlining, and negotiating contract terms and conditions.
