Lead Consultant

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Consultant, Lead to join our team. This position is ideal for professionals with a minimum of 3 years of experience (5 years preferred), particularly in federal consulting, management systems, process improvement, engagement and outreach. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in project management, team leadership, and developing innovative solutions to client challenges. This role also involves supporting promotion and technical assistance programs, as well as leading or contributing to communications, engagement, and outreach initiatives.

What You Will Do:

Provide routine support for promotion and technical assistance programs and services. Develop routine or simple deliverables, including templates, sample documents, outlines, implementation guides, multimedia (audio and video), checklists, and other technical support products. Perform recordkeeping and tracking tasks to ensure project organization and compliance. Lead or contribute to process improvement initiatives and management system implementation. Support project management activities, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation. Lead teams or workstreams, providing guidance and mentorship to junior staff. Collaborate with clients to identify challenges and generate tailored solutions. Contribute to communications, engagement, and outreach efforts, including technical assistance and stakeholder engagement.

What You Will Need:

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, public administration, communications, or related disciplines). 5 years of professional experience preferred or minimum of 3 years of professional experience, including federal consulting experience. Experience with management systems, process improvement, or organizational development.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong interest in or experience with project management and team leadership. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and recordkeeping abilities. Ability to obtain a working knowledge of the ABS Health, safety, quality, and environmental management systems.

It Would Be Nice If You Have:

Experience in communications, engagement, outreach, or technical assistance. Familiarity with promotion programs or public sector initiatives. Ability to develop innovative and practical solutions to client challenges.
