Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant Analyst RPOS Developer
We are in search of a Support Business Analyst within the Resort Application Development (RAD) team. This role provides an exciting opportunity to join a team dedicated to ensuring a high-quality level of support to those who rely on our custom software solutions. As RAD Support Business Analyst you will be required to work collaboratively within a remote team environment providing direct support to the employee user community across the Vail Resorts enterprise.

Support Business Analysts have a Primary focus on the support, maintenance, and development of a suite of desktop applications, mobile applications, web services, modern web apps, and internal APIs. All these are required for ski resort management and point-of-sale functionality.

On this team, you will be seen as a subject matter expert and participate in the gathering, documentation, and approval of business requirements. This individual will work closely with the Senior BA’s, Project Managers and Application managers on our team to troubleshoot ongoing support and maintenance issues and work on system enhancements. You will be reporting directly to the Manager of Resort Application Development.

Responsibilities
• Provide operational support for product applications, including weekend on-call support on a rotational basis.
• Troubleshoot system issues and provide data to the user community as requested.
• Support the development of applications within our suite.
• Provide communication and training as required to key users on new system functionality, releases, and fixes.
• Execution of Compliance Controls Processes. Perform quarterly audit and compliance duties as assigned.
• Perform ongoing support and maintenance tasks as well as routine annual duties.
• Track individual workflow effectively through an agile team environment. Participate in all agile ceremony meetings.
• Participate in the QA Life Cycle by developing test scripts, documenting test results, reporting on results, and coordinating UAT testing for assigned items.
• Ensure all work follows the SDLC process, meets SOX and PCI requirements, and maintains all required supporting documentation. Ensure all risk and compliance obligations are met
• Execution of Project tasks as assigned
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
• Proven organizational and time-management skills
• Previous experience showcasing strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills at all levels.
• Experience working in a collaborative environment while also able to work independently.
• Proven track record leveraging analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work on multiple projects/tasks simultaneously
• Experience using MS Office suite
• Requirements gathering and documentation skills
• Process and technical writing skills

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
• Professional Experience in the ski resort, IT Business Analyst, or hospitality fields
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent in related job experience
• Prior RPOS/RTP or similar software application experience
• Exposure to MS Development Technologies, including VB6, .Net, SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS, etc..
• Software Quality Assurance experience
• Experience with ticket tracking systems, such as IT Connect, Jira, etc.
• Test planning, use case development, test script creation and quality assurance
• Experience working with cross-functional teams across multiple locations
