As part of the health & benefits team, this role is primarily to develop and grow our H&B business in Malaysia. This would include active business development and pipeline management, design and implementation of effective employee benefits, client sales/servicing support and to deliver on H&B strategy and BD projects.

The Role

Support health & benefits projects and proposals development Clear understanding of client requirement and ability to translate requirements into project proposal, recommendation and SOW Develop benefits propositions, liaising & negotiating with stakeholders and prepare client solutions & recommendations. This would include (but not limited to) day to day vendor collaboration, building/refining processes and developing marketing/sales materials Project delivery and account management. This would include serving as the contact for internal stakeholders and clients on delivery of services. Consulting projects delivery, ensuring the progress against established objectives, budget, timeline, deliverables and quality standards Manage client expectations and raise appropriate issues to Practice Leader Maintain high client retention Revenue Target for H&B consulting projects and fee/commission based brokerage clients Manage an active and healthy sales pipeline that is aligned to revenue target Ensure compliance with the requirements of Company’s Quality Standards Conduct benchmarking studies and other research; provide value added analyses and summaries Design, distribute and evaluate responses to surveys and RFPs Communicate and liaise effectively with colleagues and clients regarding data collection and project execution

 

The Requirements

Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a Health & Benefits consulting and/or brokerage role, or
from a C&B function in industryExcellent ability to communicate effectively to address clients’ need and challengesStrong written/verbal communication skills and ability to present ideas/solutionsTechnical proficiency in Malaysian employee benefitsStrong self-leadership by working independently and seeking help when neededSense of accountability by owning one’s work and taking pride in itBroad understanding of compliance issues related to local legislationStrong agility to manage and learn from rapid changing work environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
