We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Consultant to join our growing team. This role will involve leading a team of developers and consultants to deliver high-quality software solutions. As a Lead Consultant, you will be responsible for driving the design and execution of projects that involve Java, Selenium, API Automation, ETL, SQL, and a combination of Java/Python development.
Responsibilities
• Lead and mentor a team in designing, developing, and optimizing ETL processes to ensure seamless data integration.
• Implement ETL solutions to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines that support real-time and batch processing.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable ETL solutions.
• Optimize ETL performance, ensuring high efficiency and minimal data latency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data quality, data flow, and integration issues across ETL processes.
• Automate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes using Python, Java, and other scripting tools.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for ETL workflows and ensure proper version control.
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications
• Strong expertise in ETL processes and tools (e.g., Apache Kafka, Talend, Informatica, or custom solutions).
• Bachelor's / Graduation / Equivalent with equivalent experience.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL, including complex queries, performance tuning, and data transformations.
• Experience in Python and Java for scripting and developing data pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with large-scale data integration and database management.
• Proficiency in data modelling and designing scalable, high-performance ETL architectures.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, including staging, loading, and transformation.
• Experience with cloud-based ETL tools and services (e.g., AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory).
• Excellent problem-solving skills, especially related to data quality and integration challenges.
Preferred qualifications
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
• Familiarity with modern frameworks for API testing such as Postman or Rest Assured.
