This is a client facing position for a Lead Controls Engineer in the Services / Aftermarket department. You’ll be working directly with the customer's operational teams on the existing install base.
As a Lead Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Leading all applicable Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality requirementsDeveloping and execute scopes in line with customer and project requirements and prioritiesIncreasing the region level of ownership and accountability over APACI project execution, generate more autonomy and regional capacity and capabilities.Collaborating during design reviews, work with the Controlled Titles at all stages during project execution, input into the project risk matrix and drive mitigation activities.Collaborating with key personnel to assess the manpower required for offshore installations (including skill gaps), provide planning support, inputting and reviewing procedures for the offshore installations and lead the offshore teams during commissioning and start-up.Delivering engineering design based on customer requirements and developing them into design specifications, verifying the design and converting into manufacturing specifications and operating specifications.Providing technical engineering support and leadership during business and non-business hours, including rotation based 24-7 engineering on-call.

Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:

Have Bachelors/Masters in Control Systems Engineering, or an equivalent combination of qualifications and relevant experience.Have at least 8 years of engineering experience within the subsea industry or oil and gas servicesHave proven automation experience with specific focus on PLC and HMI technologiesHave proven experience in product and system test and commissioning activities from product FAT through to Control System eFAT and offshore commissioning.Have service-based Customer First mindset and good understanding of risk analysis and hazard mitigationBe proactive and results oriented, self-motivated and ability to work independently and in a team.Have good communication skills, with an ability to communicate well in a multi-lingual/multi-cultural team environmentHave good English language skills, both verbal and written.
