Immanuel Communities is seeking a Full-time Lead Cook to work at Lakeside, located at 17475 Frances Street, Omaha, NE 68130. Lakeside has been voted “Best of Omaha” in the senior living category for 15 years. It has 89 independent, 49 assisted living and 12 memory support apartment homes along with 18 lofts. The schedule for this position is 7:00am-3:30pm and 10:30am-7:30pm, including holidays and some weekend availability.
This position will pay up to $22.00/hour. Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.

The Lead Cook is to ensure that high-quality food is prepared, apportioned, and presented in an appealing manner to residents. Additional responsibilities of this job include all types of food preparation, including yet not limited to baking, grilling, stove-top and oven cooking; and cleaning the kitchen. The incumbent may be assigned to oversee progress of cooks’ abilities, kitchen projects, or certain aspects of food preparation in the kitchen.
Skills & Requirements
Two (2) years of culinary experience is required.
