Performs a variety of cardiopulmonary diagnostic procedures and special procedures or duties as assigned. May be assigned orientation and inservice education responsibilities. Carries out assigned duties and responsibilities according to policies and procedures approved by the Medical Director for Cardiopulmonary Services.

Reviews existing clinical data, collects additional data and recommends obtaining additional pertinent data. Prior experience as a team leader or supervisor preferred. Possess an advanced knowledge of cardiac physiology and other sciences related to cardiac diagnostics and be able to demonstrate these to others. Demonstrated ability to use tact and judgment when dealing with physicians, nurses, other hospital employees, patients and patients’ families.
