About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Credit Risk & Approval Officer for the Wells Fargo Inter-Company Affiliates Portfolio. This position is part of Finance Risk Management within Corporate Risk – Wells Fargo’s second line of defense – and will report to the Head of Legal Entity Interest Rate Risk.
The position will provide independent risk oversight of extensions of credit between Wells Fargo’s bank entities and non-bank entities pursuant to Regulation W. Primary responsibilities will include evaluating credit requests, coordinating the credit approval process, and administering the existing credit portfolio. These responsibilities will ensure that inter-company credit risk is managed effectively and consistent with safe and sound banking practices, policies, and procedures. Success in this role will require a high degree of collaboration with stakeholders across Credit/Liquidity/Capital/IRR Risks, Underwriting, Business, Treasury, Finance, Accounting, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Audit, and other areas.
