**Koniag Operations Services,** a Koniag Government Services company **,** is seeking a Lead Custodian to support KOS and our government customer in Lakewood, CO. **The hourly pay rate is $21.25.**

To provide exceptional customer service by leading custodial teams in a government building. The Group Leader will ensure that buildings/facilities are cleaned and maintained to customer satisfaction and within compliance with all sanitation regulations. The Group Leader has the primary responsibility for the continuous operation and maintenance of all equipment and will coordinate the efforts of team members to ensure total contract compliance and contract success.
**Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:**
+ Train and lead a team of qualified staff to ensure a safe and clean environment for both customers and employees.
+ Flexible to take on extra cleaning responsibilities, when necessary, with the possibility of working part-time in designated areas.
+ Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
+ Coordinate the work of custodial staff.
+ Responsible for ensuring all employees comply with established safety and environmental standards.
+ Be familiar with the routine functions and requirements of the contract.
+ Conduct workplace investigations to solve employee disputes and make recommendations for disciplining employees with the Supervisor when necessary.
+ Ensure the performance standards established by the contract are adhered to.
+ Coordinate all of the work performed by any sub-contractor and ensure the level of service rendered meets the quality of the company.
+ Ensure all employees on your assigned project are qualified to perform the assigned work and have the requisite licenses, certificates and training when required by law or industry practice.
+ Promptly investigate all accidents/incidents involving the Company and sub-Contractor personnel that involve damage to property, injury/illness resulting in hospitalization, lost work time, first aid cases and near misses.
+ Meet routinely with the Supervisor(s) to discuss performance, requirements, and resolve personnel or administrative issues.
+ Work Orders checked and continue daily log to make sure all work is completed.
+ Responsible for handling complaints from tenants throughout the shift.
+ Other duties as assigned.
**Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:**
+ **MUST be able to pass a thorough background check**
+ **MUST be Bi-lingual**
+ High School diploma or equivalent
+ The Custodian Lead shall have a minimum of three (3) years of experience with managing and related services in building(s) of similar size and complexity.
+ Knowledge of MS Office a must.
+ Knowledge of NCMMS desirable.
**Working Environment & Conditions:**
+ Requires the ability to safely carry 20lbs, climb and descend stepladders, and work at elevated heights.
+ Requires the ability to work under pressure and respond with a sense of urgency.
+ Requires the ability to follow all safety rules, policies, and procedures.
+ Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and organization skills.
+ Must have the ability to communicate with all levels of management.
+ Excellent communication, problem-solving and planning skills.
+ Ability to work well as part of a leadership team.
+ Ability to direct others and negotiate for desired results.
+ Must be able to demonstrate position-required behaviors in fulfillment of the organization' s mission.
+ May be required to work overtime, other shifts, or on-call as needed or scheduled.
+ Emergency overtime may be required.
+ Generally, works indoors, and is exposed to normal office equipment and noise.
