You Are:

This senior-level position will be responsible for leading complex data projects, mentoring team members, and establishing enterprise-wide best practices for data management and visualization.

 

The Opportunity:

·       Lead the design and implementation of enterprise data integration solutions using Informatica PowerCenter and AWS services

·       Develop and maintain advanced dashboards and reports using Cognos and Tableau Architect end-to-end data solutions that align with business objectives and technical requirements

·       Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers and analysts

·       Establish and enforce best practices for data visualization, ETL processes, and data governance

·       Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into technical solutions

·       Optimize existing data workflows and reporting processes for improved performance

·       Lead technical design reviews and ensure quality standards are met

What You Need:

·       Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field 12+ years of experience in data engineering or business intelligence roles

·       Advanced expertise in Cognos and Tableau for creating complex dashboards and reports

·       Extensive experience with Informatica

·       PowerCenter including: Advanced transformations Workflows and worklets Performance tuning Error handling

·       Strong knowledge of AWS services, particularly: Redshift S3 Glue CloudWatch

·       Proven experience leading technical teams and mentoring junior engineers

·       Expert-level SQL skills and experience with data modeling

·       Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field Certifications in: IBM Cognos Analytics Tableau Desktop Certified Professional AWS Certified Solutions Architect Informatica PowerCenter Certification

·       Experience with additional BI tools (Power BI, Looker) Knowledge of data governance frameworks and compliance requirements

·       Experience with real-time data integration Background in DataOps and DevOps practices Technical

·       Skills Business Intelligence: Cognos Analytics, Tableau ETL/Data Integration: Informatica PowerCenter

·       Cloud Platform: AWS Databases: SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL Data Warehousing: Amazon Redshift,

·       Snowflake Programming: SQL, Python, Shell scripting

·       Version Control: Git Leadership Competencies Strategic thinking and project planning

·       Team leadership and mentoring capabilities

·       Stakeholder management and communication

·       Problem-solving and decision-making Risk management and mitigation Change management

·       Excellent verbal and written communication

·       Strong presentation and documentation abilities Project management expertise

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: Remote

Compensation Range: $95,000-$143,750

 

 

Benefits

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

Part-time employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching.

Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) program with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Part-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).

All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
