Aptean is seeking an experienced, hands-on and outcome driven Data Engineering professional to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure for our data platform. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data architecture principles, extensive experience with data modeling, DWH and Data Lake technologies and the ability to design and implement scalable data platform. About the role Design, build and maintain data warehouse, data lake, and data pipelines to ensure reliability & consistency. Implement end-to-end ETL/ELT workflows to seamlessly extract, transform, and load data into data platform. Analyse requirements to create technical designs, data models and ETL migration strategies on DWH, DL and cloud platform. Maintain and enhance data warehouses for multiple data sources, ensuring comprehensive integration, ingestion pipelines, data quality alerts, and effective remediation strategies. Implements database back-up, recovery, and archiving strategy. Design Solutions to Ingest data into Data Lake from various source systems by performing source data analysis. Support and maintain downstream integrations from our data lake, for example business intelligence and visualization tools and business applications. Evaluate identifying existing data gaps, building new ETL data pipelines, and providing automated solutions to deliver advanced analytical capabilities and enriched data to applications that support business operations. Implement and streamline DevOps practices in Enterprise Data Platform. Ensure that operational system integrations driven from the data stack are running, monitored and available. Monitoring and troubleshooting data integration processes to ensure the utmost accuracy and integrity of data. 6. Firsthand experience in the data engineering with demonstrated design and technical implementation of data warehouses. Technical expertise in data modeling, database design, data extraction, and segmentation techniques. Experience with building, deploying, and troubleshooting reliable and consistent data pipelines working with disparate in-house and external data-sources. Expert in developing large scale, enterprise class distributed system or subsystems that require high availability, low latency, & strong data consistency computing. Advanced complex SQL knowledge and experience. Working experience with both relational and NoSQL databases. Strong knowledge of data visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau. Strong knowledge of data validation techniques and processes. Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines. Effectively communicate complex technical artifacts to both technical & non-technical audiences Participate in cross-functional meetings, workshops, and planning sessions to ensure data engineering activities support the overall objectives across data product and platform initiatives.
