This role is based in either Sunnyvale-CA or San Francisco.

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.
The Deal Desk team are the strategic advisors to LinkedIn’s Field Sales team, managing the Quote to Cash (Q2C) and facilitating the complex deal structures and requests that our clients demand. We drive scale within the Sales organization, allowing Sales to focus on selling, while we create efficiencies, increase profitability, and enforce stronger controls. Lead Deal Desk Strategists will understand the ins and outs of our policies, processes, and systems. They will advise, coach, and train Sales Reps on a day-to-day basis to efficiently work within LinkedIn Sales process and policies. You will help drive LinkedIn’s growth and success by partnering with LinkedIn Sales teams and other cross-functional partners. You will have a clear and thorough understanding of the end-to-end LinkedIn eco system, you will be a strong leader and a prolific relationship builder.
The role also builds connections across teams to drive growth, optimize processes, and scale the business. By collaborating with Sales and cross-functional leaders, the strategist helps execute business strategies, increase profitability, and create efficiencies, allowing Sales to focus on selling. This position plays a critical role in ensuring LinkedIn’s success and growth.
Responsibilities:
+ You will enable the Deal Desk team to deliver the best possible service to our internal and external customers - across multiple markets and/or verticals.
+ You will ensure team KPIs are being met and continuously find ways to improve via systems innovations, process improvements or better use of our resources.
+ You will partner the cross-functional leadership team in driving change, understanding market & team dynamics and proactively designing solutions to solve our biggest problems.
+ You will create partnership with Sales and other cross-functional teams including Legal, Credit, Revenue, Pricing to deliver an effective and efficient service to clients while maintaining top-quality customer experience.
+ You will train, mentor and educate other members of the Deal Desk global team to enable them to provide excellent support to the Field and our customers.
+ You will serve as a point of escalation to the Field and other cross-functional partners
+ You will be an expert advisor to internal teams on systems tools and the creation & execution of all deals, particularly of high value and complex deals.
+ Serves as a subject matter expert, proactively sharing knowledge with global team and cross-functional teams.
+ Ability to travel to regional offices to meet directly with Sales teams and cross-functional leaders
+ You will ensure our Global Deal Desk teams receive communication and education on any upcoming system changes and drive adoption and collection.
+ As a lead member of the team, you will be a role model for change, learning and development and continually act with a growth mindset.
+ Identify regional nuance in process needs, familiarizing yourself with how and why another Deal Desk region works differently.
+ Cultivate and maintain relationships with key cross-functional partners/back-office teams, familiarize yourself with their processes and policies, serving as a POC for Deal Desk team for questions or concerns, minimizing need for escalation
+ Take ownership and program manage issue resolution across all back-office teams, performing initial triage of issue identified by Sales and managing issue until it is fully resolved
+ Potential to engage directly with clients through both written and verbal communications, helping to resolve OTC issues directly
+ Manage escalations of all OTC issues from Sales and clients
+ Demonstrate the ability to go “above and beyond” in the support of our Sales teams and clients
Basic Qualifications:
+ 4+ years of experience in Marketing and/or SaaS, sales operations, pricing strategy, revenue strategy, management consulting, corporate strategy or project management.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Deal Desk, Pricing experience at Marketing or SaaS businesses
+ BA/BS Degree
+ Comfortable with data and ambiguity, and enjoys solving business problems through analysis and story-telling
+ Experience using data analysis tools such as Excel
+ Strong communication skills, including written and verbal communication, experience with senior level management
+ Comfortable interacting one-to-one with individual contributors, senior leaders, as well as coaching teams.
+ A love for change and an ability to thrive in a complex and fast-moving environment
+ Strong interpersonal skills with ability to lead meetings and guide cross-functional teams through decision-making processes
+ Attention to detail, ability to prioritize and manage multiple simultaneous workstreams
+ Ability to process a high volume of transactions with accuracy and integrity
+ Proven track record of program management for large, cross-functional, strategic enterprise-wide programs
+ Intellectually curious, strong emotional intelligence, resilient, passionate and humble
+ Experience using Salesforce is a plus.

The pay range for this role is $82,000-$126,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
