Principal duties and Essential responsibilities:  

Very good understanding of the public cloud ecosystem (AWS/Azure/GCP), Micro services and Modern DevOps practices. Along with effectively handling product SLA and customer issues, infrastructure and Cloud Cost management and optimization Build, configure, scale and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform, Ansible, Puppet and other DevOps tools. Expert in develop and deploy the continuous deployment and continuous integration (CI/CD) practices using tools like Harness, Jenkins, Github  Expert in design, build, and optimize applications containerization and orchestration with Docker, Quay, Helm and OKD/Kubernetes Should understand security best practices. Experience with security hardening of application and Infrastructure against vulnerabilities. Experience with Observability tools and processes. Expertise in tools like Datadog, Splunk, Prometheus Hands on experience with scripting languages like Python, Go, Shell  Ability to mentor DevOps engineers, help with team efficiencies and solve complex problems, along with ensuring projects are delivered on time.

 

Minimum Requirements:  

8-12 Overall years’ experience in DevOps and Cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP 8+ years of experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure as code, Containerization, Kubernetes, scripting languages, DevOps tools and processes Very good Interpersonal and communication skills, ability to mentor team members, work effectively with stake holders across the globe

 

Specific Qualifications and Accreditations   

A Bachelor or post graduate degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.  Azure/AWS/Kubernetes cloud certifications
